Use
refrigerator as per the instructions given
in the user manual supplied with the refrigerator.It
must be installed in a place with proper
air circulation around. It should always
be installed away from direct heat,breeze
& sunlight, but nearer to powerpoint.
Do not use extension cord.Be sure that the
refrigerator is in level & specified
voltage range (160- 260 V) at the power/plug
point.
If voltage exceeds the said range use a
voltage stabiliser. It must be earthed for
safety. See to it that the children do not
climb or hang on the door as this could
damage the refrigerator & harm the children.
Always pour water on the icecubes this will
help in removing the ice faster. When the
refrigerator is on keep away from cold surfaces
particularly when hands are wet.
Foods like bananas, melons which are easily
spoilt should be stored at higher temperatures
& fresh food in provision compartment.
Before storing hot food allow it to cool
upto room temperature. Always store food
in plastic bags or alluminium foil or in
covered container. Avoid storing flammable
vapours or liquids near refrigerator.
Avoid opening door frequently or for longer
duration. For economical use & proper
cooling defrost it regularly. For proper
functioning of the refrigerator always clean
defrost water collector pan once in three
months. Always rinse & dry thoroughly
the interior removable parts & avoid
washing them in automatic dishwasher.
Always use a mild detergent & a soft
cloth to wipe the exterior otherwise it
could scratch & damage the finish of
the refrigerator. Always keep the door gasket
clean. Insecticides being harmful &
toxic damage plastic surfaces so one should
not use them. Regularly wipe the external
surfaces dry.
The
lower edge front of cabinet as well as bottom
surface of door should be regularly wiped
despite of powder coating or precoated external
finish. While going on long vacations disconnect
powersupply cord,remove all the food &
the leave the doors open to prevent odour
& fungus formation.
