This can be reduced to some extent by ensuring adequate intake of calcium daily i.e getting atleast 1500mg (if one is over 50) and 1000mg (if your an under 50 adult). 1000ml of skim milk will give 120mg of calcium.Other sources include urad dal, green leafy vegetables and almonds.

From an analyzed data from 48000 men researchers discovered that one can reduce the risk of bladder cancer if they drank 10 cups of fluid instead of less than 6 cups a day the risk of bladdercancer would be less by 50%.They speculate that extra fluid dilutes potential carcinogens and can reduce the time they spend in the bladder.Water appears to be more effective.

Frying Tips

There's no way around it :Frying is fatty. But you can cut down on the fat somewhat, especially the heart harmful saturated kind. Use oil rather than solid fat such as lard or shortening. Try that oil, which is high in beneficial monosaturated fat. Don't add food until the oil is hot. That will seal the surface & prevent the food from soaking up excess grease.
