Ingredients :
2 cup whole green gram
2 cup sour curds
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp rai
3 to 4 curry leaves
1/2 tsp hing
1/2 tsp green chilli-ginger paste
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method:
Wash and soak the moong for 2 to 3
hours. Pressure cook the moong in
1 1/2 cups of water for 2 whistles.
Beat the curds with the chilli powder
and haldi.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the rai,
curry leaves, hing, green chilli-ginger
paste and stir. Add the moong and
stir. Add the beaten curds, salt and
mix well. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve hot with plain rice.
Please
note:
If the curds are fresh, add 1/2 teaspoon
of citric acid.
