    Kancheevaram Idlis 
Ingredients :
3 cups par boiled rice
1 1/4 cups black urad dal
1 tsp rai
2 -4 green chilies
a pinch of hing
Salt to taste
Oil as needed





Method:
Soak rice and black urad dal in hot water for 4 hours and grind for 4 minutes and keep overnight with salt. The next morning, mix the batter well. 3.Heat oil and fry rai seeds, chopped green chilies and hing .

Remove from fire and add ghee. Pour this over the batter and mix properly . Pour into the idli moulds and steam cook for 7 to 10 minutes. Serve with peanut chutney.
