    Sambar 
Ingredients :
200 gms Masur Dhal or Thoor Dhal
25 gmsRed Chilli and dhaniya powder
1/4 tsp haldi powder
1 tsp rai seeds
1/2 tsp saunf
A pinch of hing
4-6 curry leaves
2 tbsp dhaniys leaves finely chopped
10 gms Imli
3 tbsp rock saly (senda namak)
2 small onions cut into pieces
2 tomatoes cut into pieces
4 tbsp cooking oil

Vegetables :
18-20 Sambar Onion
250 gms Brinjal
250 gms Drum Stick and Brinjal
250 gms White pumpkin 250 gms
250 gms Lady's Finger 250 gms

Method:
Soak Imli and rock salt in 100 ml of water for about 1/2 hour. Crush and extract the juice. Add a pinch of haldi powder to the dal in about 500 ml of water and cook it over a pressure cooker.

Heat oil over a pan, add rai seeds allow to crackle add saunf and hing. Add Onion, Tomato and any one of the above listed vegetables and fry it. Smash the cooked dal and add Chilli powder to it. Transfer it to the above fried vegetable mixture and bring it to a boil.

As soon as, the vegetable is cooked, add imli juice to it. Allow it to boil for about 5-10 minutes.
