    Aloo Methi (Potatoes in Fenugreek masala)  

Ingredients :
½ kg Potatoes - (small pieces)
2-3 tomatoes
1 bunch methi leaves (Fenugreek)
few flakes of garlic
green chillies
salt to taste
turmeric, cumin, coriander powder
water as required


Method:
Wash the methi leaves(fenugreek) and cut fine. Apply little salt and keep aside for ½ an hour. (Re-wash properly before using). In a dekhchee heat little oil add garlic, green chillies.

When brown add methi leaves(fenugreek) fry for 2-3 mins. Add tomatoes and salt, all powdered masala too. Keep stirring till oil comes up.

Mash this masala well then add Potatoes pieces. Keep stirring well till all the vegetable stick to the bottom. Add water to the vegetable as required for the Potatoes to cook and it is done well keep on low flame for 15-20 mins. Serve hot.
