Ingredients
:
1cup Moogh yellow dal
½ inch ginger cut fine
pinch turmeric (haldi) powder
all powdered masala
salt to taste.

Method:
Boil the moogh dal with turmeric (haldi)
and ginger (either in a dekhchee or
cooker) till done.
Mash the dal with a hand beater or
electric beater. Add salt to taste.
Pour the dal into the serving dish
after heating it well. Sprinkle chilli
powder, Dhania (corriander) powder,
cumin (jeera) powder and amchur powder
well from all sides on the dal. Pour
little oil on the masala Serve hot
with hot pakwans.
Ingredients
for Pakhwan:
2 cups wheat flour
salt a pinch
2-3 tbsp oil
water as required to knead
Knead
the dough by mixing all the above
ingredients. Roll round like chapattis.
Just prick with a fork all over the
chapattis very lightly & Deep
fry in hot oil the pakwan pressing
it. hard on both sides to flatter
it. Remove when brown in colour.
