    Sai Bhaji (Palak)  

Ingredients :
2 bunches of palak (washed and cut fine)
1 small bowl gram (chana) dal (soaked for
½ hour)
1 big onion
3 tomatoes
few flakes of garlic
few green chilies
all dry masala as turmeric (haldi),
chilli, corriander (dhania) powder
1small potatoes (optional)
1 small carrot (optional)
salt to taste

Method:
Heat little oil in a cooker and little green chilies and onion When onion is slightly pink add dal and than palak Keep stirring add optional vegetables and all dry powder masala.

And tomatoes salt. Keep stirring when the vegetables sticks the bottom put 2&1/2 cups of water and close the cooker Let the whistle go 4 times and then keep on low flame for another 5 minutes and than mash the vegetables with a hard beater and than put tarka of garlic cumin (jeera) in a small Kadai heat oil add jeera and garlic when burnt put it in the cooker and close the lid immediately.
