Ingredients
:
To prepare the cake:
200gms. Castor sugar
110gms.Flour
3 Eggs
25 gms. Cocoa
1 tsp.Baking powder
few drops of Vanilla essence
To decorate it :
Grated chocolate 60 gms.
Cherries 120 gms.
Cream 2 1/4 tsp.
Rum 3/4 cup
Syrup of cherries 2 1/4 tsp.
Castor sugar
Chill well and serve.

Method
:
Sieve the flour, cocoa, baking powder for
4 - 6 times.
Beat the eggs and sugar placing it in hot
water till it is light and fluffy.Remove
from water and add flour and the vanilla
essence.Grease a baking dish and pour this
mixture into it.
Bake at 200° C for half an hour. Cool
the cake and cut it horizontally into two
parts.
To decorate it:
Cut the cherries into half for decoration.Mix
the rum and syrup of cherries and spread
it on the two parts of the cake.
Beat the cream and sugar placing it on ice.
Spread the cream on the lower part of cake.
Arrange the cherries and spread the grated
chocolate.Place the other part of the cake
on top of this and decorate with the cream,
grated chocolate and cherries.
