Ingredients
:
250g maida
25g besan
1 tbsp oil
1 cup curd
2 1/2 cups water
350g sugar
2-3 pinches yellow food colour
500g ghee
6 threads saffron, soaked in
3 tbsp hot milk

Method
:
Mix together the maida & besan, oil,
curd,and water to make a medium thick paste.
Cover and keep this overnight for fermentation.
Prepare sugar syrup .Mix food color and
saffron to the syrup.
Beat the flour mixture.Fill this in a plastic
bag with a hole at the bottom. Squeeze out
the mixture into the hot ghee.Drop medium
sized whirls in a continuous flow ,beginning
from outer circle and ending in the center.
Fry them till they become crisp and change
colour to golden brown.
Drain oil & soak in the syrup for 8-10
minutes & serve.
