    Naralachi Chappati
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time :
30 minutes.

Ingredients :

For the dough
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsps melted ghee
salt to taste
For the stuffing :
1 teacup grated fresh coconut
1 teacup powdered sugar
1/2 tsps cardamom powder
1/2 tsps jaiphal powder
2 tsps ghee

For cooking :
ghee

Method:
Sieve the flour with the salt. Add the ghee and mix very well. Add enough water and make a soft dough.

For the stuffing :

Melt the ghee and add the coconut. Cook on a slow flame, stirring continuously until it is lightly coloured and totally dry. When cool, add the sugar, cardamom powder and jaiphal powder and mix well.
Taste and add extra sugar and jaiphal as desired.

How to proceed :

Knead the dough and divide into 20 portions. Roll out each portion of the dough into small rounds.

Spread 1 tbsps of the stuffing on one round and dampen the edges by applying water. Press another round on top and seal the edges to close the stuffing completely. Repeat for the remaining small rounds and stuffing.

Cook on a hot tawa on both sides using a little ghee until pink spots come on top.
Serve hot.
