    Naralachi (Coconut) Potali 
Ingredients :
1/2 cups grated coconut
1 1/2 cups gur , grated
Fresh banana or haldi leaves
1 cup rice, soaked in water, drain dry
1 tbsp butter or ghee
1 tbsp cardamom powder
a pinch of salt

Method:
Grind rice and grate 1cup coconut finely. Add salt and keep. Mix the remaning coconut and gur and cook till blended properly.Add cardamom powder.

Cut banana leaves into squares. If using turmeric leaves, keep them whole. Apply ghee on each layer and spread 1 spoon of rice batter on it. Place 1 spoon of coconut and gur mixture in the centre and fold the leaf over itself. Prepare all raw patolis in this manner.

Steam groups of raw patolis in a steamer. Open up the jacket of the leaf, and serve hot with ghee .
