Preparation
Time : 25 minutes.
Cooking Time : 30 minutes.
Ingredients :
3 teacups green peas
3 large tomatoes
2 tbsps oil
salt to taste For the paste
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsps grated coconut
2 tsps dhania seeds
2 sticks dalchini
1 tsps jeera seeds
2 laung
2 kalimirchi
4-5 red chillies
3-4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp oil to serve
2 tbsps fresh cream
3 tbsps chopped dhaniya leaves

Method:
For the paste :
Heat the oil and fry the onion, coconut,
dhaniya seeds,dalchini, jeera seeds,
cloves, kalimirchi and chillies for
at least 4 to5 minutes.
Grind the fried ingredients with the
garlic to make a paste.
For the ambti :
Crush the green peas. Put the tomatoes
in hot water for 10 minutes. Grate
into a puree.
Heat the oil and fry the paste for
few minutes.
Add the green peas, tomato puree,
salt and 1 1/2 teacups of water and
bring it to boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about
15 minutes.
Serve hot and top it with cream and
dhaniya leaves .
