Ingredients

6-7 curry leaves
3-5 green chillies
2 onions, finely chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped (or 1 tsp tamarind
pulp)
2 flakes garlic, finely chopped
3 cups besan
5 tbsps oil
3 tbsps coriander leaves
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder
1/2 tsp rai seeds
1/2 tsp jeera seeds
salt to taste

Method:
Dry and roast the besan in a kadai
till pink. keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadhai and add rai and
jeera. When they pop, add green chillies,
curry leaves, garlic and onions. Fry
till golden in colour add tomatoes.
Lastly add the besan, chilli and haldi
powders, salt and a little water.
Stir, with no lumps, till brown and
fragrant. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with bhakris.
