Ingredients
:
1/2 kg mutton, cubed
8 large green chillies, slit
1 tsp jeera seeds
1 tsp kalonji
1 cup corriander leaves
Sufficient oil
Salt to taste
For paste :
1/2 cup imli (tamarind) pulp
1 tsp haldi powder
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp saunf, roasted
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp khus- khus
11/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp til , roasted
2 onions, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped

Method
:
Mix all the ingredients for the paste and
blend until soft. Marinate mutton in the
ground masala and salt for 1/2 an hour.
Heat 7 tsp of oil in pressure cooker. Add
jeera and kalonji.
When they pop, add the mutton with masala.
Fry till masala and oil separate.
Add 2 cups of hot water. Pressure cook till
meat is done, about 15-20 mins. Heat another
2 -3 ts of
oil in a pan and fry whole slit chillies
till soft. Add to the meat and simmer. Garnish
with corriander leaves and serve with rice.
