Ingredients
:
1/2 kg cucumbers
A small lump of tamarind
1/2 tsp oil
A pinch of haldi
some coriander leaves
1/2 tsp salt
For
seasoning :
1/2 tsp urad dal
A pinch of hing
1/2 tsp rai
3 red chilies
1/4 tspMethi
3 green chilies

Method
:
Peel and finely chop the cucumber. Mix with
salt and turmeric in a bowl, set aside for
15 minutes and then squeeze out the excess
water. Heat oil in a pan and fry seasoning
ingredients.
Grind the fried ingredients along with the
tamarind for 4 minutes till a fine paste
is obtained.
Mix the paste and the chopped cucumber till
well combined. Serve the chutney garnished
with chopped coriander leaves.
