Ingredients
:
2 cups fresh prawns, skinless
100g oil
5 tbsp lemon juice
25g tamarind
7 garlic flakes
1 tsp rai powder
1 tsp methi powder
5 tsp salt
3 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
For seasoning:
1 tsp rai
1/2 tsp methi & jeera seeds each
2 tsp Black urad dal and chana dal each
4 red chilies
1 sprig curry leaves

Method
:
Wash the prawns, add salt and mix well.
Fry the prawns in 50g oil until golden brown.
Mix tamarind water, chili, rai and methi
powders, garlic flakes, lemon juice well
and grind to a fine paste.
Fry the methi & jeera seeds in the remaining
oil until light brown .
Add fried prawns and tamarind paste. Mix
well. Store in a tight jar. It remains for
2 months.
