Ingredients
:
1 bunch palak
1/2 cup channa dal
1 Onion
1 Tbsp Gram flour
3 flakes Garlic
3 to 4 Green Chillies
1/2 tsp jeera
Small Piece Ginger
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method
:
Wash and soak the channa dal in enough water
for three hours. Clean and wash the palak
in plenty of salted water.
Chop the palak fine. Strain the channa dal
and grind it along with palak in a mixer
to a thick paste. Add all the remaining
ingredients.
Shape the mixture into long rolls and steam
them in a pressure cooker for five minutes
or till done. When cool, Remove from the
cooker. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry
the kababs in hot oil till done. Serve them
hot with mint chutney.
For phudina Chutney :
1 bunch pudina
1 large Onion
2 Tbsp Anardana (pomgranate seeds)
4-5 Green chillies
Salt to taste
Clean and wash the pudina Grind all the
ingredients for the phudina chutney to a
fine paste. Refrigerate till serving time.
