Ingredients
:
140gms Butter or margarine
1 tbsp Water
3 tbsp Golden syrup
1 tsp Lemon juice
Brown sugar
2 level tsp Ginger powder
200 gms Maida
2 level tsp Baking powder
2 Eggs

Method
:
Grease the cake tin & line it with grease
proof paper & again grease it. Seive
the maida powder ,ginger powder & and
baking powder together three times.
Put the butter or margarine ,golden syrup
,sugar in a pan with water. Heat gently
until margarine has melted . Stop heating
& gradually stir the dry ingredients.
Add lemon juice & beaten eggs and mix
well. Pour into a prepared cake tin . Bake
in a preheated oven at 150 degree Celcius
for 30 minutes.
Serve
with fruits & custard or cream and walnuts
