Aloo Mutter

Ingredients :
3medium potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup green peas
5 tbsp ghee or butter
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 laung
3 tejpata
1 inch dalchini
11/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp dhaniya
2 tomatoes, quartered
Salt to taste
1 1/4 cups water
Chopped corriander.

Method :
Take a pan heat ghee put onion, garlic saute over medium heat till golden. To this add laung ,tejpatta, dalchini and stir fry for 2 minutes.

Then add garam masala, chili powder,haldi, coriander powder, tomatoes, salt and mix well. Now add potatoes & peas. Pour in water & bring to a boil.

Lower heat, cover the pan & simmer gently for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are done. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot.
