Ingredients

1 kg Big Brinjal
50g Garlic
200g Tomatoes
40g Green chilies
200g Onions
11/2 bunch corriander
A pinch of Haldi
11/2 Lemon
Salt to taste
75g Oil
50g Channa
25g Tuwar dal
15g Rai

Method
:
Apply oil to the Brinjal and make few strips
(small cut) with a knife. Cut the garlic
and green chilies finely into slices and
stuff them in the brinjal strips.
Cook
the Brinjal on the flame until the outer
laye rbecomes black. Remove the black layer
and mash the Brinjal. Take a pan heat oil
put pinch of hing, rai,channa and add chopped
onions. Fry until they turn into brown color.
Then add green chilies, tomatoes, salt,
haldi and cook for 5-6 minutes. When the
tomatoes gets fried, add mashed brinjal
and mix well. To this, add chopped cilantro,
lemon juice and remove from heat. Serve
with hot chapathis or puris.
