Brinjal With Spicy Gravy

Ingredients :
100g Baby Brinjal
1 Onions, chopped
21/2 Green chilies, chopped
Few pepper corns
3g Tamarind, soaked in hot water
1/2 tsp Rai
1/2 tsp jeera
1 tsp Jeera-Methi powder
1 tsp Haldi
3 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method :
Cut the Brinjal into four, lengthwise, to three fourths of their total length and soak in salted water.

Take a pan heat oil in a pan,put rai ,jeera,pinch of hing, Taken add chopped green chilies,onions and pepper corns. Fry for few minutes.

Now add eggplants and fry for another 2 minutes.Now add tamarind water, salt, Jeera Methi powder and cook until the gravy thickens. Serve hot with vegetable pulao.
