Ingredients :
450 grams red pumpkin (kaddu),
chopped
450 grams potatoes, chopped
2 bay leaves
2 stick cinnamon
2-3 laung
2 -3 cardamoms
1 tsp Kalongi seeds
1/2 tsp rai
1/2 tsp meethi seeds
2 tbsps fresh curds
1/4 tsp hing
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsps dhania and jeera powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder
2 tomatoes , chopped
1 tsp amchur powder or lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar
4 tbsps of ghee
salt to taste

Method
:
Heat ghee and fry the bay leaves, dalchini
, laung , cardamoms, kalongi seeds, rai
and methi seeds until the seeds begin to
crackle.
Add curd, hing , chilli, dhania and jeera
seed and haldi powders and fry for 2 to
3 minutes.Add tomatoes and fry for 2 minute.
Add potatoes, pumpkin and 1/2 teacup of
water, cover and cook on a medium heat for
10 to 12 minutes or until the vegetables
are tender. Add amchur powder, sugar and
salt. Serve hot.
