Ingredients
:
3 Tomatoes, cut into
big pieces
1 cup Tuwar dal
1 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Rai
1 tsp Haldi
3 Green chilies
2 Red chilies
2 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red chili powder
Curry leaves

Method
:
Wash the tuwar dal well and add 3 cups of
waterto this, add chopped tomatoes,green
chilies, turmeric, salt, chili powder and
pressure cook for 30 minutes.
When the tuwar dal gets cooked, remove from
heat and transfer to a serving dish.
Take a pan heat oil in ,put rai,jeera, curry
leaves, red chilies and add to the dahl
when it splutters.
Serve with rice or chapathis.
Please Note:
Palak dal can also be prepared by the same
procedure by keeping Palak instead of tomatoes.
